Situated in Akureyri and only 30 km from Godafoss Waterfall, Björkin – Cozy Cabin with excellent view features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. When we arrived I regretted booking for only one night. This is a perfect getaway for several days. Entering the house with the spacious veranda and the great view it just felt like home because it had this personal touch (little library..) Kitchen was well equipped. We made use of the washing machine, very handy after 10 days. We`ll try and visit again

I was having a hard time deciding on what to book when in the area, and i'm extremelly happy i booked my night here. First i was greeted by this beautiful dog ad then i met the owner! Very nice, wellcoming and happy host. Cabins are beautiful and super cozy! Amazing views to the mountains and the fields around! If you need any assistance the owners live close by. Kitchen is well equiped. Very clean, confortable beds and nice shower. There is an area outisde where you can sit and drink a coffee or wait for the northern lights. It's a great spot to catch the auroras! Varmahlíð is closed by and you cab do shopping there or order some food. There are 2 petrol stations here. Will definitely come back next time i'm in the area. Loved the piece and quiet of the place! Thank you!

We chose this place for the night before heading back to Reykjavik and it was the best decision ever! The house is big and spacious. Kitchen and common area is wide enough for everyone. Have all the kitchenware you need. The house even comes with washing machine and dryer. Rooms and bed are comfy. The host is very responsive and provided us the detailed instruction of how to check in much in advance. We find no problem to find the place. It is a really small, but peaceful and quiet town. But we enjoy our time here very much.

Objekt Laxárdalur Cabin smješten je na farmi u Arhólaru, na 11 km od glavne ceste, a nudi tradicionalne kućice s kuhinjom, blagovaonicom i vlastitom kupaonicom. the cabins are in a beautiful river valley (we had not realized when booking that it’s still a bit of a drive from Myvatn, but it was worth it) and they’re very nicely equipped with everything you need, including a little kitchen (which is great, since the location is a bit remote).

Ytri Vík features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Hauganes, 29 km from Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall. Built in 1929, the property includes sauna and hot tub.... We were lucky to spend two nights at Ytri Vik cottage, in a chalet of our own. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with scenery so sublime that it shall remain the highlight of our memory of Iceland - snow covered mountains, the Eyjafjörðu fjord, and sapphire sea waters. Our one bedroom chalet, 'Sel', was nestled right at the back of a row of six similar chalets, and featured all creature comforts including a fully equipped kitchen, hot plates, fridge, a BBQ, Excellent Wifi, TV with netflix and amazon prime and, (our favourite), a steaming geothermal hot tub on the front balcony which was perfect for taking in the majestic view at sunset. The hot tub was filled and ready for us on arrival, and remained at a perfect temperature for the duration of our stay. Our bed comprised of two single beds joined together, and was comfortably kitted out with soft bedding. The bathroom was spacious, and the living area had a cosy sofa with candles, and throw blankets, which created a dreamy and romantic ambience. Ytri Vik cottages was the place that we were able to completely unwind and let our experience of Iceland's raw beauty sink in. We were very happy with our stay, and look forward to coming back when we visit Iceland again.
